Kanata is a vast wooded private estate of 1,325 acres. 700 energy-efficient homes will combine the aesthetic appeal of log with modern comforts and high-tech facilities. They will be made available in phases over a 15 year time-scale, within a development that will respect the natural environment including all homes will be connected to a high-tech water sewage treatment facility. The seven home models offered by Kanata are available on large private building plots of between 1 to 5 acres each. 80% of the land area of the Kanata development will remain undeveloped in its natural state including a 70 acre wildlife protection zone.
