L'Hemisphere is a semi-detached home, the left & right units combined have the appearance of a single-family home. Each unit is 2,000 ft2 of living space (including the basement).

The 761 ft2 main floor features an open concept kitchen, dining area and half-cathedral-ceilinged living room with a stone feature log-burning fireplace, the fully glazed prow provides ample daylight and this floor also has a cloakroom and laundry room.

The 478 ft2 mezzanine provides two comfortable bedrooms and bathroom. Optionally the under-eave area can be utilised as low-level storage spaces.

The 761 ft2 walkout basement is partially finished. The basement is largely open plan with all walls and ceilings finished in wood panelling with finished windows and electrics. An extra cost option is a fully finished basement, divided into bedrooms and additional living spaces or it can be developed as a self-contained apartment.

Each house is inspected, tested for air-tightness and certified as having satisfied the Novoclimat standard, the highest construction standard in Quebec for these criteria.

This means that as well as improving the energy efficiency, by at least 25%, which reduces running costs, the home is generally more comfortable, draught free, with stable temperatures and clean air.
